Terms of Use
Read carefully · last updated 2026-05-15
These terms govern your use of the forezai.com website and the open-source software referenced from it ("Forezai", "the Software"). By accessing the website or downloading, installing, running, or modifying the Software, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the website or the Software.
Forezai is research and educational software. It can be configured to place real, irreversible orders against on-chain prediction markets. If you run it in LIVE mode with a funded wallet, you can lose 100% of the funds in that wallet within minutes. Paper-trading P&L shown in the dashboard is not predictive of real-money outcomes. Polymarket fees, adverse selection by better-informed traders, RPC failures, network latency, and strategy bugs each — independently — can drain a funded wallet. Nothing on this website constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, or a financial product.
1. Scope & acceptance
These terms apply to (a) the marketing website at forezai.com and (b) the Forezai open-source software project, including its source code, documentation, dashboard, and any companion materials. The operator is the data controller named in the Imprint. By using the website or the Software, you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, stop using both immediately.
2. Software license
The Forezai source code is published under the MIT License. The full license text is included in the repository at github.com/MeyerThorsten/polymarket-ai-trading-bot/blob/main/LICENSE. Under the MIT license you may use, modify, and redistribute the Software, including for commercial purposes, provided that the copyright notice and the permission notice are preserved in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. The MIT license also disclaims all warranties — see §6 below.
3. No financial advice
Forezai is a research and educational tool. The website, the dashboard, and the source code do not provide:
- investment advice (Anlageberatung)
- investment recommendations (Anlageempfehlungen)
- portfolio management or asset management services
- brokerage or order-execution services
- tax, legal, or accounting advice
The operator is not authorised or licensed as a financial-services provider under the German Banking Act (KWG), the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), the German Investment Code (KAGB), MiFID II, or any equivalent regulation. No statement on this website or in the Software constitutes a personal recommendation. Any decision to trade real money is yours alone. If you are unsure whether prediction-market trading is appropriate for you, consult a properly licensed independent advisor before risking capital.
4. Suitability & your responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining whether use of the Software — and any specific configuration, strategy, parameter setting, or wallet you connect to it — is suitable for your financial circumstances, risk tolerance, tax situation, and any laws or regulations applicable to you. You must:
- understand each strategy mode (sniper, fair-value, maker-quoter, regime-switch) and its risks before enabling it;
- verify the Polymarket fee model, settlement mechanics, and resolution feed match what the Software assumes, before flipping LIVE mode;
- set risk gates (daily-loss, drawdown, consecutive-loss) to values you are genuinely prepared to lose;
- never connect a wallet whose loss would cause you material financial hardship;
- comply with all laws of your jurisdiction concerning prediction-market trading, including whether Polymarket is even accessible to you (it is geo-restricted in several countries);
- maintain appropriate operational security around the private key used by the Software.
5. No guarantee of results
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Paper-trading performance reported by the Software is achieved against simulated fills using a real order book — it does not reflect actual market impact, real RPC latency at the moment of trade, queue position on the live CLOB, or the adverse-selection penalty that informed flow imposes on takers. Real-money results will, in the operator's strongly held research view, be materially worse than paper results on the same strategies.
6. No warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This disclaimer is part of the MIT license and is repeated here for emphasis. The operator does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from defects, viruses, or other harmful components, nor that any results obtained from its use will be accurate or reliable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including without limitation lost profits, lost data, trading losses, opportunity cost, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the website or the Software, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if the operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, the operator is not liable for losses caused by: (a) any trade, fill, or settlement executed by the Software; (b) any custodial-wallet or private-key handling decision made by you; (c) downtime, outage, mispricing, or behaviour of Polymarket, its smart contracts, its order book, its resolution feed, or any other third-party service; (d) network, RPC, or blockchain failures; (e) actions of third-party software, browser extensions (including wallet plugins), or hosting infrastructure; (f) your own configuration of risk gates, strategy parameters, or seed values.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law — in particular, liability for intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), liability under the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG), or liability for damage to life, body or health remains unaffected.
8. Third-party services
The Software interacts with third-party services including Polymarket (Polymarket Holdings, an operator of on-chain prediction markets), Polygon (the blockchain on which Polymarket operates), Chainlink Labs (price oracle), Binance (price reference), GitHub (source-code hosting), and Google Fonts. Your use of those services is governed by the respective providers' own terms and privacy policies. The operator of Forezai has no control over those services and accepts no liability for them.
9. Prohibited use
You must not use the website or the Software:
- in violation of any law applicable to you, including but not limited to financial-services regulation, anti-money-laundering law, sanctions regimes, securities law, or tax law;
- to facilitate market manipulation, wash-trading, front-running, or any other form of abusive market conduct on Polymarket or any other venue;
- from a jurisdiction in which interacting with Polymarket or with on-chain prediction markets generally is unlawful or restricted;
- on behalf of any party where you are not legally authorised to act for that party;
- in a manner designed to disable, damage, overload, or impair the website, its hosting infrastructure, or any third-party service the Software connects to.
10. Availability & changes
The website is provided on a best-effort basis. The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the website (or any part of it) at any time without notice, and may at any time withdraw or amend the Software including these terms. The current version of these terms is the one displayed on this page; substantive changes will be highlighted on the home page for a reasonable transitional period.
11. Governing law & venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer with habitual residence in another EU/EEA member state, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that state's law remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is the operator's place of business in Iffeldorf, Germany, or — for consumers — the consumer's place of residence at their option.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The invalid provision is to be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid one.
